Welcome to My Canvas Course

Hello.  My name is Ms. Milman and I am the school counselor for seniors.  I can be reached via email  susanmilman@davidson.k12.nc.us  or by phone at 336-242-5700 ext 6535.

Students are the drivers of their own process and journey.  Parents/guardians and school counselors can be a GPS system giving a road map and guide to overcoming obstacles in the path.  SELF-ADVOCACY is an important goal for seniors because you will need to do that after high school.   

If you need to send me something, please scan/email or fax it to 336-242-5702.  Our email messages can be delayed for hours and/or I may be doing tasks and not looking at emails.  If I don't respond within 24 hours,  students should come see me. I am extremely conscientious.  If you email me or leave me a message and don't hear back in a day or two, call me.  If you ask me a question that I can't answer, I will email you back to let you know that I am working on it.

Here are other ways that students can contact me:

1.  Come to my office- you are not bothering me.  My job is to help you.

2. If you come to my office and I am not there, use the paper and pen in my wall basket to write me a note and stick it under my door.

Even after 23 years in education, I am unable to

receive telepathic messags.
